The Art of Sustainability<\/strong>
\nMy contribution is a non scientific description of the approach of the inhabitants of planet Earth with the result that lots of things are going wrong.<\/p>\n

1. Analysis.<\/strong>
\nAs a result of human actions, a great deal has gone wrong in this world.
\nWe have built too many cities in a poor way.
\nWe have built many unnecessary buildings.
\nWe have taken too much agricultural land from nature.
\nWe have surrounded ourselves with too many \u2018things\u2019.
\nWe produce too much waste.
\nWe emit too much CO2.
\nWe\u2026. etc. etc. etc.<\/p>\n

2. What to do.<\/strong>
\nThe approach to the new build of a city and buildings must be drastically reformulated.
\nThe flexibility of the physical world must be optimized.
\nRecycling of components will be necessary.
\nThe technology of transition must be optimized.
\nThis also applies to the everyday \u2018things\u2019.
\nDesign them in a way that they can be repaired and dismantled. They can always be disposed of later if necessary.
\nInclude this technology in the training courses for designers.<\/p>\n

3. Creativity.<\/strong>
\nAn urgent request will be made to the designer world. This not only applies to architects, urban planners and landscape architects, but also to designers and industrial designers.
\nExtensive forms of collaboration and the development of integral design processes must be promoted.
\nHowever, this will lead to fantastic opportunities for the designer\u2019s field.<\/p>\n
