Lecture: Quality and innovation as a tool for societal development and change 18:00h Day three, Saturday 10 October |
|
| Johan Sandberg heads up Cefur, a research and development organization in the Swedish town of Ronneby. Cefur is charged by the Ronneby town council to be an innovative engine for sustainable development in industry and society, with Cradle to Cradle® in special focus. Since its founding in 2011 Cefur has completed a number of internal and external projects. In 2014 the Cradle to Cradle®-inspired local pre-school Backsippan was presented by Sweden Green Building Council as the healthiest pre-school in Sweden. A large number of visitors, both Swedish and European, have since then come to learn how Cefur made that happen. Johan came to Cefur after a long career in ICT where he held a number of C-level positions. He has experience from the VC market and has successfully started and managed his own management consulting company. Johan holds a BSc in computer science. Besides his work at Cefur Johan is an active mentor for young entrepreneurs in the region and is chairman of the board at the local housing company Ronnebyhus. |
Quality and innovation as a tool for societal development and change
The municipality of Ronneby, Sweden, is one of 16 partners in the Horizon 2020-project BAMB – Buildings As Material Banks. Circular material flows and resource management is the next step for a responsible and profitable building industry and the project’s objective is to explore and demonstrate how that can be achieved. |
