Prof. Dr. Darinka Golubović-Matić is a Full Professor at University Union Nikola Tesla in Belgrade, working across architecture, urbanism and civil engineering. Her research focuses on sustainable urban development, urban regeneration, environmental assessment, climate resilience, green infrastructure and urban mobility. Her recent work explores the integration of Digital Twins, AI and the “Brain of the City” concept into evidence-based urban planning, connecting environmental monitoring, spatial data and human perception with urban design and decision-making. She leads interdisciplinary research and educational projects that use the city as a living laboratory, with particular interest in innovative approaches to sustainable, resilient and human-centred urban transformation.
